AREAS OF CLINICAL EXPERTISE

WHAT I CAN HELP YOU WITH

    • I provide neurodiversity-affirming therapy for adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), including those diagnosed later in life, and those exploring whether ADHD may be contributing to longstanding challenges.

      • I have expertise in supporting those with 'late-in-life' diagnoses, misdiagnoses, and experiences of symptom dismissal, resulting in masking, self-minimization, symptom hypervigilance, and mistrust of both self and systems.

      • I offer specific expertise in the treatment of ADHD in women, including gender-related differences in symptom presentation, late diagnosis, masking, self-doubt, and the impact of hormonal changes on attention, emotional regulation, and executive functioning.

    • Therapy can help address challenges such as overwhelm, task paralysis, difficulties with follow-through, emotional regulation, sensory sensitivities, burnout, and chronic self-pressure, while creating systems, routines, and practical tools that work with your brain rather than against it.

    • While I do not provide ADHD evaluations (these are typically completed by neuropsychologists), I can help you navigate the assessment process, provide referrals, and collaborate with other members of your care team when appropriate.

I am currently in the process of obtaining a national certification as a ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP).

    • I specialize in providing evidence-based, goal-oriented therapy for Anxiety Disorders, with expertise in the treatment of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Panic Disorder, Illness Anxiety Disorder (formerly “Hypochondriasis”), and Social Anxiety Disorder.

    • Therapy can help address chronic worry, overthinking, panic, difficulty tolerating uncertainty, self-doubt, avoidance, perfectionism, and the feeling of always being “on edge.”

    • Together, we'll identify the thoughts, behaviors, and fears that fuel anxiety, build practical coping skills, and gradually reduce anxiety's impact on your daily life so you can feel more confident navigating uncertainty.

    • Drawing on extensive experience in integrated behavioral health settings, I provide therapy for adults navigating the emotional impact of chronic illness, medical trauma, and health-related stress. My approach is grounded in an understanding of the interconnectedness of physical and emotional well-being, while also recognizing how culture, power, identity, and access to care shape each person's experience of illness and healing.

      • I have experience supporting those who have felt dismissed, misunderstood, blamed for their symptoms, or expected to manage more than they should have to within medical systems.

      • I have expertise in supporting women navigating chronic health conditions, including the ways women's symptoms are often overlooked, dismissed, or misunderstood within healthcare settings.

    • Therapy can help address anxiety, grief, uncertainty, burnout, changes in identity, and the challenges of living with ongoing symptoms or medical instability.

    • Together, we'll work to strengthen self-trust, build self-advocacy skills, develop a more compassionate relationship with your body, and navigate life with greater confidence and flexibility.

    • I have extensive experience working with women, with particular expertise in women’s mental health and the impact of hormonal changes on mood, functioning, and overall well-being.

      • This includes support related to menstruation, fertility and family-building experiences, pregnancy, the postpartum period, perimenopause, and other reproductive transitions.

      • I also provide guidance in identifying when symptoms may be influenced by hormonal factors, including conditions such as PMDD and perimenopausal depression.

    • Therapy can help address overwhelm, burnout, anxiety, self-doubt, changes in identity, and the pressures associated with navigating multiple roles and responsibilities.

    • Together, we'll explore the impact of relationships, caregiving demands, societal expectations, and life transitions while building self-trust, self-compassion, and practical strategies that support your well-being.
